Confetti DIY Ornaments

· ·

This is a super simple ornament for my Disney loving friends!

Gather your supplies and print off the ornament pattern. I included multiple design elements for the mouse so you can decide which parts you want to include on the ornament.

Supplies

  1. foam
  2. mod podge
  3. foam brush/cotton swab
  4. scissors
  5. sequins/glitter/confetti
  6. pattern
  7. twine

Print and cut out the pattern pices.

Trace the design elements onto the foam. As you can see below I traced around the buttons to make a Mickey but the confetti just did not work. The confetti was too big, I’m sure something finer like glitter would work.

I used my crop-a-dile tool to punch in the eyelets for hanging. A regular hole punch works too!

Brush on the Mod Podge. For the smaller design elements I used a cotton swab.

Pile on the confetti- I used a combination of confetti and sequins. I also did a sequins version. Let dry!

Once you have let the first layer dry shake off the excess. You will probably need to add more. Add a second layer of Mod Podge dabbing where you see any bare spots and add more confetti. Let dry and once dry, shake off the excess.

Once the ornament is completely dry you can trim up any dangling pieces.

Add twine and ribbon! You can hang on the tree, use in your decorating or use as a gift topper.
